Looking for an under $100 software solution for podcasting for my non-profit's annual meeting.
Recorder is an Olympus DS-2, and will be used for interviews from 5-20 minutes long either in the news room with an external stereo mic, or out in the field hand-held. Ouput files are in the .wma format.
Looking for some software that I can train a student/news coordinator to download the .wma files off the recorder, do some basic editing (if needed), output to .mp3, and create the correct rss feed before uploading to our development server. From there, I'll do a quick check before uploading it to the live server.
Is there an integrated solution out there? I don't need the software to record, and I don't need a huge range of editing features...just the basics.
Since I'm going to be teaching this to others with minimal tech. experience, less is more.
Any ideas/thoughts for a solution? Thanks!
