Q?s House Internet Radio & PodCast Holds 3rd Annual Artist of the Year Competition.
Orlando, FL November 2006 ? The syndicated Internet radio show and podcast, Q?s House, will begin its annual Artist of the Year Competition December 5th 2006. All 50 artists competing for this title have been featured and interviewed for this unique podcast. Other awards up for grabs include Most Brutal Metal Act and Best Acoustic Performance for those bands that made their appearance in person.
A competition in three rounds: Artists who move on after Round One (12/05/06-12/19/06) will be determined by online voting. In Round Two the winners? music will receive a spin (01/02/06-01/09/06) and Residents of Q?s House (Listeners) will vote via phone or instant messenger. The final round (01/09/06-01/16/06) will be decided by a panel of industry judges based on music, web site, and fan email. Confirmed judges include Ken Krongard: President: MakorLabelScout.com; Erin Lockhart: Florida Manager, Emergenza Music Festival; Bernadette Giacomazzo: Owner: Akasha Multi Media & Co-Author: Swimming with Sharks; Michelle Lewis: 2004 Q?s House Artist of the Year. Other judges TBA. Recipients of these awards will also receive goods or services from Sam Ash, Old Dog Products Road Warrior Guitar Stands, Gridlock Studios, Bong Spirits, and ABC Fine Wine & Spirits.
Q?s House is smash mouth talk radio at its finest. It?s comedy fueled by rage with interviews with the most entertaining personalities off the beaten path and set to the best unsigned artists from around the globe. Residents log on to hear new music and get to know the real people behind it. Host Quinton Sheer has worked in broadcast radio and has lent his voice to numerous videos, CD ROMs, and voice mails.
