Welcome to what turned out to be an almost all consumer protection show.
Did you get involved with any of the hype and insanity that was the two new game console launches this week? There were some pretty bad incidents, but one that caught my interest was FYE, the mall music/electronics store has apparently made more than a few loyal customers into boycotting activists. Seems you pre-order a Wii, put a small down payment on the $250.00 console, and then a few month later, after hanging onto your money for 4+ months, they call and let you know your system is ready for pickup?.just one thing?.you need to buy two games (no we dont have Zelda or other popular ones), oh and you need to buy an FYE membership card too, total $400.00. Let me run right out and support this wonderful retailer.

Police ten codes are being discontinued. Apparently its not good when different municipalities cant communicate in emergencies because they use different codes?thats a big 10-4
Blue Hippo is at it again, they have moderated just a bit, but still selling $299 computers for over $2100.00, thats a good deal according to their commercial?why wouldnt everyone want this deal?
Grocers told they cannot sell gas below cost. Its this silly law trying to prevent unfair business practices.
Target flexes its retail muscles, starts bullying Disney, taking down singing and promotional materials for Disneys hit movie Cars.
