Ok so I'm really excited about the new feed editing feature, but I'm confused. I've succesfully claimed my feed The Pro Photography Show (http://podcastalley.com/podcast_details.php?pod_id=36765) but when I go to the edit page everything is highlighted red except the catagory, and fee url and I cant seem to edit any of them.
At the top it says "To change your detected details, edit your feed appropriately and click the Redetect button below" Does this mean I need to edit the feed details in feedburner, or should I be able to do it here.
Also at the bottom it says "VALID FEED : Your podcast is working great! Congratulations" So I assume there is no trouble there.
I have been hoping to get the listing edited for quite awhile as non of the keyword tage are working when poeple do a podcast search. (I was thinking maybe it's because I have commas, and no spaves?)
I've read the other threads on this, but can't seem to find any definate answers. Any help would be great... Gavin

Hi Gavin.
We are now detecting almost every detail of your feed from the feed itself (here's Ferf's message (http://www.podcastalley.com/forum/showthread.php?p=608844#post608844) regarding that) rather than making you type all of those details twice (in your feed and then here). The items in red are things that will change in our records because your feed has changed since it was last detected - most likely by the old system.
I realize that the changed items being red is a bit ambiguous, so I've filed a bug to get it fixed/changed. We don't want to mislead you into thinking there were problems. To sum it up, if your "Save" button on the edit page is enabled, you should be good to go. Please let me know if there are any problems.
I almost forgot: The proper format for keywords according to Apple (http://www.apple.com/itunes/store/podcaststechspecs.html#_Toc526931674) is "a maximum of 12 text keywords. Use commas to separate keywords." No spaces should be fine.

I'm still a bit confused. Are you saying that when I change the kewords, and feed details under the itunes settings in feedburner it will update on PCA?
Even though I have the keywords, PCA is not using them. The kewords I have that work great on itunes wont bring anything up on PCA. For example if I search for something even like "professional photography" the show does not come up. Any ideas why the keywords aren't working?

Sort of... Sorry to confuse you. We don't check your feed at regular time intervals to see if your details have changed (pinging your feed, if you will). When you come here to edit your feed, we read the details from the feed itself at that time. This gives you as the feed owner a chance to look at and approve of the detected changes.
So yes we are reading the details directly from your feed. But, no - making changes from your feed generator (feedburner) does not automatically update your feed at PCA. You still need to perform the step of editing your feed here and verifying the changes.
Please let me know if that explanation helps.

Any ideas why the keywords aren't working? We are using them, but you may have uncovered a search bug. I filed a ticket to get this looked at and hopefuly fixed. Regardless, updating the search mechanism soon is on our list of things to do, so please bear with us for now if results aren't as expected.
