Signature Images and smilies

So I noticed that the image links in the signatures doesn't seem to be working anymore. Is this permanent?

I also notice that only two smilies show up in the box to the right of the compose pane. The others show up as a broken link (but seem to work)

Signature images unfortunately wouldn't import into the new forum system. They are enabled however, so you should be able to re-upload it. From the "User CP" link above, click on "Edit Signature" on the left side (under "Settings and Options"). Then use the form below your signature editor to upload an image. If you get any errors or have problems, post again and I'll get it resolved right away.

Hate to disagree, but on my User CP signature edit options the BBcode tag for images is disabled:

Allow [IMG] Code No
Can Upload Images for Signature No

I didn't see any instructions for uploading an image for the signature. I'll look some more, though, just in case I missed something.

Sorry about that. It should be fixed now. There was a setting still locked down from testing. Please try again and let me know your result - good or bad.

The upload dialogue is there, but I'm a little surprised at the lack of outside linking. And in lieu of that, pretty disappointed at the 2 kb size limit. I tried saving my image down to 6 kb and it looks unacceptably muddy -- no way would I want to save it to anything smaller.

I'd rather not use any image than one that is only 2 kb.

Yes it is, and thanks for the hard work. It's much appreciated! It's the only major hiccup I was having!

The final word is that they need to be 100x500 pixels, non-animated, and under 20kb (up from 2kb). Hope that helps.

Nope. We'll be allowing both uploaded and linked signature images unless there are problems in the future. No need to change yours, but thanks for bringing the upload issues to our attention.
