Now that I have 5 shows a week, (All but 2 paying gigs), I need a proper "Studio". Where I currently record is right off our family room and it needed a wall so...

The double pane window is so my kids can see when Im Working and not bang on the door. The glass is actually glass I removed when I restored the VolksCast Radio Bus, "Hank". Thought it was kinda cool.

I used 2 in Poly Styrene insulation and it works pretty good for sound deading, I have some acoustic tiles to hang and this weekend Im throwing down Hardwood floors.

Its coming along, now I just need to name it and all is good :D

Ah isolation.....tis such a wonderful thing.

My favorite place is probably my isolation booth in my house because it's the most quiet place in the world.

Congrats.

Hi Ray,

FYI - If you're looking for an inexpensive way to avoid bounce off your walls, here's a site that offers sound blankets at half the going price:

Add $1/grommet unless you care to add them yourself.

Warm Regards, Michael
