Podcast Peer Awards 2

Nominations have started for the second round of the Podcast Peer Awards. We’ve got nineteen new categories. We did repeat one, Newbee, for shows that have been around for only four months or less.

If you’re a member, please stop by and start voting and nominating. If you’re not a member, stop by and join. The requirements are simple: You have to have been podcasting for at least three months and done at least six shows. There is no membership fee. (However, if you want to buy me a beer sometime, that would be fine.)

Is there a "Most Tenacious" podcast?

(Length in days doing show + number of episodes) / number of listeners?

Higher the number the more tenacious you are!

Yes, short will most likely be back in the next round.

We’re running this twice a year, but each category is only run once per year. So if you win “Best Short Podcast” that’s yours for the year. The one exception to this is Newbee. We decided that since it’s limited to shows that are four months old or less it was appropriate to run it each round.

And there will be trophies thanks to the many generous contributions of PPA members. I’ll be sending out e-mails to the winners for shipping information in the next day or so.

Is there a "Most Tenacious" podcast?
(Length in days doing show + number of episodes) / number of listeners?
Higher the number the more tenacious you are! I like that. Long running shows with lots of listeners wouldn't qualify - only shows that have been going for a long long time with very very few listeners.

The only problem is that getting numbers from podcasters is difficult. Getting accurate/honest numbers is **** near impossible.

I'm so glad to see that the ceonsorware is still treating us all like children, protecting us from such dangerous words as d a M n. It just makes me all warm and tingly inside knowing that our tender eyeballs are shielded from such evil words.
