Hi all,

Why aren't any of the votes cast against specific shows over the last few months appearing in the individual show (month or total) votes table - this despite receiving confirmation that they have been registered?!

Has anyone else experienced the phenomena?

Is it geographical (many of us in this part of the world are experiencing this problem)?

I have written to podcastalley using the 'report a fault' and the 'contact us' options several times and NEVER received any kind of response/explanantion...

What's the deal?

The silence is deafening... Can 'anyone' shed some light on this?

Or, is it going to be another month where our votes are 'acknowledged' but somehow don't 'count'?

They've had some problems with proxy voting in the past and may have shut out some of the domains that are affected. I know at one point (quite awhile ago), anybody voting from an AOL account was not able to vote.

Rather than using the buttons to report the problem, contact TheFerf (http://www.podcastalley.com/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2) through one of the IM options on his profile (not the forum's PM).

Eric

PS -- Remember that this site is hosted in the US, and over here, the new month has not begun yet. We still have a few hours of October left.

Thanks Eric - really appreciate the response...

Understood on the time difference - no one I know will vote for a few days and last month we were voting around the 10th and nothing - all votes accepted but when you visit the individual podcast pages - nothing - it's all a bit depressing and as usual conspiracy theories abound...

I will contact TheFerf as you suggest - thanks.

In closing - Happy Halloween to you and your fellow countrymen/women!

So go on... what did you go as?

I went as a down-trodden beat detective (a hung over Bogart?) bringing in the gangster's Moll (girl), played by my wife in a 1920s era flapper dress. It was fun. We also showed a Taiwanese and Vietnamese exchange student how to carve pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns and toast pumpkin seeds.

Hi theFerf,

Thanks for this...

These are the shows I have been voting for over the last few months but nothing is showing up...

There are other people who have the same problem but also some people are only allowed to vote for one show a month and whenever they try to vote for another show they can't...

Nice one Eric - the costumes sound fun and beyond that you always struck me as an 'internationalist' - nice to see that view confirmed...

All the best
