I've been searching around and have only found old podfaded programs featuring country music or bluegrass. I'd really like to cross promote with other podcasters in this genre who are currently podcasting. I think they'll be a better match for me. Can anybody recommend some they've come across? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey...

While the Alaska Podshow has a broad mix of music, I do feature local or related Folk and Bluegrass artists on the Show... As for cross promotion, I'd be interested in seeing what you had in mind.

Cheers!

Thanks, guys! I'll give both shows a listen to.

What I'm looking for in cross promotion is for shows to share promos with. I can get many podcasts to play my promos and I could play theirs, but our audiences don't intersect. I haven't seen ANY growth from just sharing promos. What do techie podcast listeners have in common with country music listeners? Maybe a few people are both? But not generally. So it hasn't been worth it to exchange promos.

Another problem I have is that many shows out there are not family safe or work safe. They're a bad fit for me to advertise on and I can't advertise them.
Teen podcasters tend to podfade, or their shows are not one's I'd feel comfortable featuring, or we run into the genre mismatch again.

It's kinda frustrating, but I'm not giving up hope. I'm sure there are like-minded shows out there. I just don't know about them yet. ;)
