Is there any software of some sort that I can use to know how many subscribers I have on my podcast? I don't use any service. I use my own domain.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.

every company will tell them they can do it, or at least get close... but you'll never get exact numbers. there's no way for you to find out who's actually listening (of the people who download), or even if there's a person at the other end of that download, in some cases. so just estimate, it's good enough.

Ok, but I don't even have any software to do this. Even I have something that will tell me approximately, that will be good enough for me.

Yeah, that's what I do.
According to Libsyn, my last show has been dloaaded about 200 times but I estimate that to be more like 20,000.

The best estimate is the number of completed downloads. At least at that point you have a defensible number. So look through the log file for downloads that return a HTTP return code 200 and the total number of bytes is the size of the show file.
That will cover everything but the bit torrent-like clients that get the file in pieces. It is a little more complicated to count them. Look for downloads where the offset to start and the total downloaded bytes adds up to the size of the file.
This is pretty much what the services do for estimating downloads.

Your web hosting service should be able to help you with a stats program (in fact you may already have one and just don't know about it). I use AwStats. It tracks the number of "views" for each file on your site, as well as its average download size.
As others have already mentioned, getting accurate numbers for your show can be a hazy process. Even so, tracking your numbers will give you a good sense of your listenership, and more importantly, help you follow trends.
Once you find a program that offers you what you want, collect the data regularly. For example, I track my show's numbers every 24 hours in its first week.
FYI - here's the link to AwStats site: http://awstats.sourceforge.net/?seenIEPage=1
Hope that helps.

Hot ****! Using your math, almost every episode of my show's been downloaded more than 35,000 times.
Amazing!
