Podcast User Magazine - Have you read the mag?

I'm just curious, but is there anyone here that hasn't checked out Podcast user magazine? If so, I would interested to know why not :D

This is one of the few online magazines that is really a magazine, not just a web site. It’s a free PDF file, and it’s obvious they spend a lot of time on the design and layout.

The content is varied, and includes interviews with podcasters (one with me in this issue!), reviews of shows, reviews of equipment and software, advice on improving your show, stories of conventions – just about everything that would be of interest to podcasters.

I recommend it. If you haven’t checked it out, what are you waiting for?

I have read just over half of the issues so far (I just learned about it this weekend). Many of the articles are informative. Not all apply to me, therefore I skip those.

I have been disappointed in that I have seen several typos in the magazine. No, these aren't just simple spelling differences between British and US English. There are plenty of those, but that is certainly acceptable. What I am seeing seems to be more simple mistakes of proof reading. I understand this takes time and effort. But if this magazine were actually printed and people had to pay money for it, I am afraid that those mistakes would keep the magazine from being a big seller. It weakens the credibility of the content.

The content however is good. I really enjoy the equipment reviews and tutorials.

I am currently reading issue 7. I hope that the final editing becomes more of a higher priority than it has been given so far.

I just finished issue 11 and 10. Very nice indeed. I enjoy the reviews and interviews. Nice read.
