Hi,
I'd like to know if there is any software or service where I can scan a page for MP3's and have it converted into a feed? There is no XML, it's a music blog. I want to either be able to check for updates in Itunes like a feed or have windows scheduler schedule a software to scan and download it every so often. How can I accomplish that?

There is an open source program called dircaster.php that will scan all the mp3s in a directory and create an RSS feed based on the ID tags, but I don’t think that’s what you need, as it has to be installed in the directory you’re searching. (I use it as the first step of updating my RSS feed – run it, cut and paste the first item into my real feed, and edit it from there.)

If it's a blog, it's common practice to have a RSS feed of some sort. Whether or not the MP3's are linked to the RSS file is a whole other matter though.

What software are they using for the blog? If they use Wordpress there is often an RSS link at the very bottom of the page.

Of course you can always email the site company and ask for a feed..maybe they don't know about podcasting yet and you can inform them.

...it's a music blog...If it's a blog, depending on what type, blogger or wordpress, you could figure out the feed type, atom or rss by looking at other blogs using the same CMS. Then create your own feedburner feed using the "music blog" feed as the source. Enable smartcast in feedburner and put your new custom feed into iTunes.
