Paraplegic drag, Kernel hag, School nag, Laser tag, Comcast VOIP lies…ag
For this Tuesday edition, we take a paraplegic man, add a diabetic confusion, stir in a few sheriffs and we get a fun filled pull ‘em outa the car through the window main event. No official lawsuite at this time….but Im sure a few weeks will fix that oversight.
Also, is Microsoft justified in holding out on security software developers, not allowing them access to the deepest levels of its new Vista kernel. Mcaffee and Symantec seem pretty convinced they are gettinghosed over, and have taken out full page adds to publisize the issue.
I also give a little time to the claim of one blogger that Comcast is playing the part of a used car salesman with its Voice over IP service, claiming that rival services are insecure, poor quality and a hassle. Kids butt heads with school officials over freedom of speach….again. Im not sure when schools became the end all be all of what a student could think or say off campus, and Im pretty sure they didnt.And a few words on China using lasers to make sure we arnt playing google earth peek-a-boo with our military spy satilites. Where is that SR-71 when you need it.
