I mean no offense, but I take it english is not your native language. I'm no huge expert, and your question is very vague and somewhat disjointed, but I'll do what I can.

itunes is not a streaming player. If you go to the iTunes store to buy music and you want a sample, it'll stream a 30 second preview, but otherwise, I don't think it streams.

What's probably happening is that the computer and iTunes are calculating the time it takes to download a file and it starts to play it while it is still downloading because the computer "thinks" it will finish downloading the file before it reaches the end of it's playback. The problem with this is if you are using a dial-up connection it doesn't work as it should because of the slow download speed. I'm not sure what the issue would be if you are on broadband, other than network congestion or some other problem. You may be able to go into your preferences and change the settings so that iTunes waits until the whole file is downloaded before it plays back.

I'm not sure what you mean by "media player." Do you mean Windows Media Player, or some other player like Real Player?

If it's a Real Player file and it's a truly streaming file, then unfortunately you're out of luck unless you get a third party software solution to rip the stream. I know they exist, but since I avoid Real Player like the plague I don't know what they are called.

If it's Windows Media player that you are talking about, then it would depend on the format the podcast is in. The short answer is to check the file extension. iTunes can import aiff, wav, mp3, aac, mp4, etc. iTunes won't/can't import wma. I don't think it will import avi either.

So if the audio file you want in iTunes has a name like this:
really_cool_podcast.mp3
then you can drag the file into your library and it will import it for you.

If the file looks like this:
really_cool_podcast.wma
then you are screwed and will need to convert it to a different format.

I hope I've helped a little.

Later,
Evil.

Actually iTunes does stream. If you go to the "Radio" section, that is all streaming stations in iTunes. :)
