Another fun show tonight! We take a look at the hazards of Gaden Gnome ownership in the UK, as well as how offensive tatoos can keep you from being hired on as a police officer….apparently the offensive part is optional, just have a tatoo…that cant be seen while dressed, and add one hiring manager with all the smarts of your average McNugget®.
Starbucks authorizes internet email coupon, then panics and voids them when they become ‘too widely distributed’. I suppose they though all those clogged tubes would slow things down. Dont worry though, the $100million+ lawsuit is already filed. The red cross has its own multi-million dollar issue. Apparently the large fine and resulting federal charges from 2003 over slack enforcement of blood saftey guidlines wasnt enough, so the FDA has sent the largest single fin in history of $4.2 million. Maybe this time they can take the nations blood supply safety a little more seriously.
I also look at the top 10 ways to maximize you Ebay sales, from bussinessweek, and add in a few of my own tips and tricks…and then find a few of my ‘choice morsels’ are also touched on at the end of the businessweek article. Either I should write for business week, or they are listening to my podcast before I record it!
