The war on terror (and don't get this confused with national security) is overblown and causing more problems than helping - I guess that is par for those that are experienced politicians - they can make BS sound like a heavenly meal that you would pay a lot of money for - probably at a French Restaurant.
I actually hustled to get this out on 9-11. I couldn't watch the politicizing that was scheduled on 9-11, the rhetoric I saw leading up to it was making me ill and I was already feeling quite unnerved already - see my post advertising the You Are The Guest Podcast in this forum for details.
War - everything is war. I think politicians need it to be war to even get people to care - a little. Al-Qaida does not deserve the noteriety of being involved in a war. They are filth, thugs without honor and yet our president and politicians highlight their cause by denouncing it and declaring war on terror. This gets them way more attention and money and people than they ever would have gotten.
Listen to my thoughts - it's short and to the point. I leave it solutionless, so maybe you can come up with one! If you do send it on over. I'll put up a better solution in awhile.
