we'll have to find you a karaoke bar at the expo and film the performance in HD...

An HD camera isn't going to help her carry a tune, Frank -- although Karla will look stunning while making our ears bleed! :)
If you're interested in a good karaoke performance, you might want to invest in whatever magic audio box Paris Hilton is using these days. I hear it works wonders!

the HD widescreen aspect just gives that added cinematic drama! haha
I am all about the HD widescreen..like this:

Now if we can just get the widescreen ipod out...

LOL! So true!
Hey! You could go for a sort of "Lost in Translation" thing with the Karaoke! And unlike "Lost in Translation," the Rumor Girls would actually be worth watching!

"Lost in Translation"..I actually love that movie and just watched it again recently!
Karla tonight was watching Madeline's hair style episodes...what with Karla being a professional hair stylist..she thought they were awesome! A thumbs up from one stylist to another...
Are you both coming to the expo?

Wish we were. Not in the cards this year, unfortunately.
As a consolation prize, I'm putting together a panel on podcasting this November for a film/sci-fi convention (http://www.filmcon.org/) in the area (not one of those Klingons-signing-autographs affairs, but an educational convention that breaks down film production techniques). So far Scott Fletcher has signed on, as well as Andy from X-Pat Radio, and another is considering it. I think the independent and wannabe filmmakers (http://www.howtogirl.com/howtogirl/how_to_podcast/2E656A77-3318-43CE-8772-C21E6E14E6C8.html) in the crowd might be intrigued by the distribution and marketing possibilities of podcasting.

Madeline will be flattered by that. She's not a stylist (except on herself and her sister), and of course she's learned a lot from her own stylist. Glad we stood up to the scrutiny! I'll point her to this thread.
