Help with Pupu Player

New here. I am hoping for feedback,

A number of my listeners have commented that they've been experiencing buffering problems while listening to my show via the Pupu Player. In some cases the player would fail to completely load the show (forcing the listener to restart it again). My listenership is up greatly from previous months and for the most part have chalked this up to heavy traffic (the complaints occurred within hours of releasing the show).

The only thing I've noticed when testing the Pupu Player myself, is that it takes me about 8-9 minutes to download (while streaming) the entire show. My shows are always under 30 minutes and are at 44.1/128. I've emailed the gang at PupuPlatters.com (haven't heard back yet), but was hoping for other feedback as well.

Any thoughts as to what might cause the stream to constantly re-buffer or crap out?

It could be just a matter of bandwidth. The numbers you quoted, if my math is correct, coorelate to about 425 Kbps. Not exactly stellar bandwidth to stream the file.

I streamed the file with from the site with the 3Mbps DSL and had no problems.

If the problems only occur when you release a new show it's definitely bandwidth problems. I have this problem all the time. Too many simultaneous connections. I would try to get on top of this with your host asap before you start losing listeners.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Your comments confirm what I learned from my webhoster as well - that it is really mostly due to multiple downloads at the same time. I guess if I have to have a problem, that's one I can live with.
