I've been looking into replacing my current MovableType backend with a CMS backend. MovableType is a nice Blogging solution, but I'm beginning to look for more out of my website than just a blogging solution. Specifically, my site has taken on a second pair of podcasters, and altogether, we have 5 different podcasts(We are more into covering entertainment, and different TV shows that we enjoy). Well, with the addition of the two new podcasters, I now have people that don't know much at all about HTML. And since the individual pages and the part of the posts that point to the episodes are done in HTML, it's a bit of a problem. Not to mention that a CMS really simplifies things.

Has anyone out there had any luck with integrating their podcast with a CMS? I don't use third party Feed generation, or handcode the feed. I like to have the feed magically manage itself when a new episode is posted to the site. Currently Brandon Fuller's Movable Type plugin does this for me. I'd like that same functionallity from a CMS.

I'm looking currently at Joomla! and XOOPS. Anyone have any inside into using either of these for Podcasting? Take a look at my website, and I'm sure you'll notice, I'm not one for the simplistic look of a Blog page. So that means I'd like to take a look at someone's page that has a similar style if possible. I'm also going to have to try and find a template that suites me, or have someone to design me one for a nominal fee.
