Loved the Mother's story in part III. When I was there I saw High Speed Larry - great band. Anyway, that punkass Paulyb read a poem of mine on Punky! You should check it out; maybe even play it on your show.

Just listened to part one. Jon's Jackie Mason is actually very good indeed. Nearly as good as his Jackie Collins

parts 2 & 3 completed! Great stuff as always but I really wish you would let this UK TV licensing thing go. It's clearly an alien concept to you and you don't appear to get your heads around the fact that the BBC is not government funded.

The British people pay (via the TV licence) for the British Broadcasting Corporation. It encompasses several TV channels, a huge amount of National and Local radio stations and huge numbers of related internet sites, all of which are ad-free. It is widely regarded as the best, highest quality and most impartial media company on Earth and we pay about £100 a year each for the privilege of having it.

Within days of being in the States myself and TPME were watching BBC America rather than anything else.

To try and put things in perspective, when you watch a film on the beeb you watch it like you would a video or in the same way that you do at the cinema - without interruption. There is also a huge amount of money invested in BBC drama, BBC comedy and BBC documentary. I know you can't understand why we put up with the licence fee, but its resultant product is worth it and the vast majority of the British public agree.

Anyway, I'm finished now and hopefully you can do us a favour and either leave the licence fee alone or at least understand why it is such a British way of life.

And as for our Royals being like Your Hollywood, oh good grief! You cannot compare over a thousand years of History with a media phenomenon!

Holy ****! How do you have so much time to devote to typing. I think I'm gonna have to call TPME about this. Have you cut the grass yet?

License fee, schmicense fee. If you're happy, I'm happy. Honestly, we prefer our TV to lie to us here in the good 'ol United Septic States of America!

Sorry about that - I was on one! Actually the lawn is in a right state but I'm in Cardiff for a few days so TPME isn't around to regulate my words per minute...

stop it, General Salamander! Any more compliments and Scott will jump through a hoop, head butt a bell and then let you swim with his family.

Well, that would be pretty cool, as far as I can tell! Right?
