Podcast Listener Survey: www.podcastresearcher.com
Welcome to the largest podcast listener survey ever!
As a doctoral student in educational technology at San Diego State University, I am seeking feedback from podcast listeners and viewers in an effort to compile a "checklist for effective podcasts".
Please take a minute to complete the survey and help me in my research. The best reviewed podcast will be recognized as the #1 show from podcastresearcher.com.
Thank you!

Actually, I think he's legit.
I took the survey and it looks like the sort of thing you'd expect from a Doctoral student in Ed Tech.
Didn't see anything in the questions that triggered my "BS Alert" buzzer.
Also, the page he referenced links through the the SDSU.EDU site from which you can link to Brian's home page.
I haven't gone the PhD route (yet), but I did run the Master's Degree gauntlet. Makes me inclined to take pity on any graduate student.

Legit as far as having a survey perhaps, but is it really the largest? In respect to the survey, does largest equal longest? Is it the most successful, or the most respected? Perhaps the font size is really huge?
All I'm saying is, don't try to pass it off as something it's not, because then you blow any legitimacy you're trying to achieve. I don't care what the contents of the survey are, billing it as the "largest podcast listener survey ever" sets off my BS meter like a geiger counter (http://www-spof.gsfc.nasa.gov/Education/wgeiger.html) at Three Mile Island!
Just goes to show, you can't teach common sense!

I see your point on the claim of being the largest. I work in academia so I'm pretty much immune (and blind) to that kind of language.
By "legit" I meant that it appears he actually is a PhD student and is trying to research podcasts for that PhD.
Largest? Who knows. Doing research. Looks that way.
And, for the record, academia has almost nothing to do with common sense.

I took the survey. It was short and sweet and seemed to ask pertinent questions. I'm all for anything that promotes podcasting.
