I am a senior working for a seniors charity in the U.K. and have been asked to set up a regular podcast for our members and the wider community.

We are thinking of purchasing WebPod Studio as this seems to be able to control and produce the podcasts with the lest trouble for this old man.

We will be visiting seniors in their homes and need to record items for our podcasts and do not know what the best method or equipment to use. Any help or advise would be much appreciated.

If your on Windows, check out CastBlaster.

For recording I would suggest the Marantz PMD line.

Thanks for the advice.....yes I have windowsXP

I see that Castblaster is alot cheaper and have downloaded a trial copy to play with, but the recorder is very expensive. Any thoughts about a cheaper recorder that will transfer data to a PC.

There are a few:

They aren't even close to being as good as the PMD 660
