You need to drum up more support for your Podcast Peer Award too mister!
I'm pissed - somebody actually voted "no" on mine.

I actually gave up on those things... if people wanna vote let them... if not, no real loss... either way I'll still be whoring us everywhere I possibly can ;-)

thanks bro, but we've actually been doing the live thing since March on ThereIsNoRadio.com.. that podcastorama thing was just another opportunity for exposure that we had to take, we figured we wouldn't get all the way simply because our show on a Sports Radio based station really wasn't a good fit. BUT it did draw new people to the show which definately made it a good thing for us ;)

That's awesome man! I heard a lot of the shows that entered the contest got a big bump in listeners because of it. So in a way, everyone won in that regard. As I said, I enjoyed your show, many find the jump to going live a little scary. But it's not as hard as some might think. AND it shows you're pretty good if you can pull it off week after week!
As for our Sports station...there's going to be a big announcement soon in regards to the growth/seperation of our non-sports shows.... :) .....little teaser there....

We did the straight podcast thing in the past, and as odd as it may sound, we find the live thing is just sooooo much easier and much more fun for us to do. If you **** up, woops you ****ed up, no going back to try and fix it and obsessing about bits for hours, it just is what it is.
As for that contest, ya we definately saw some new faces as a result, it really was a win win thing for us... Look forward to seeing what you guys are working on :)
