Audio recording issues

Hello,

I'm something of a novice at podcasting and I would like to record audio from Skypecsats. I have Audacity, Virtual Audio cable and Adobe Audition and even with all of these programs I can't seem to figure out how to recoed the audio. Would someone be so kind as to tell me what I'm doing wrong or walk me through how to do it? Thanks very much for any replies.

I use Kishkishsam and have been quite happy with it. I capture the conversation as a stereo wav with my cohost on one track and me on the other then split and mono the tracks. This allows me to work out the sound since we use totally different mics and are in seperate locals with very different accoustics. At $15 i found it well worth it.
