I'm pretty excited about something that my listeners and I are doing on my podcast "Phedippidations" (it's a podcast for runners, at steverunner.com).
We're putting together a "World Wide Half Marathon" in October! This is something that could only be done with podcasting, and it's just so cool.
To be honest, my show isn't for everyone; but if you know anyone who is as passionate about running as I am you might want to let them know about this event.
We set up a website: www.worldwidehalf.com where runners can register (this event is totally free).
A press release about the event is available here:

I can't think of a better medium, than a PodCast, where i could pull something like this off! You couldn't do this with commercial radio; and it's a very cool thing to know that on the weekend of October 7th and 8th runners all over the world will be running a half marathon "together".
I'll be playing "sound clips" from races all over the world, and reading "race reports" from runners...it's going to be just too cool.
Run long and taper
