I just bought a Marantz PMD-660 and am looking for ideas regarding a good XLR lavalier condensor microphone. I've heard some good things about the Audio Technica lav mics (MT830C or ATR35S). We use the AT3035's for home recording and have been pleased with them.

I realize that there are a lot of good mics that are farily small in size, but I really want a lav mic for the type (somewhat stealthy) of field recording we do. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have no idea about compatability with the Marantz, but I have two of the Giant Squid audio lavalier omnidiretional stereo microphones and we love them. It's all we use right now though that will be changing for studio work soon.
