Podtrac down (3rd time I know of)

I just noticed Podtrac is down again as of April 5th, 2:45 AM PST. How long Podtrac has been down before I noticed I don't know.

Podtrac was down for at least an hour and a half.

I sent a support request to them yesterday morning asking them if they had been having any issues. I finally got a response today that says they are upgrading their servers and that was the cause.

Fair enough I guess, but I would personally like some notification if they are going to have planned downtime. So far I think Podtrac is doing a good job, but they really need to step up their communication with their clients I think.

I'm still happy with Podtrac, too. I rememeber having problems with Feedburned when they first started, too.

I dont know what to say about Podtrac communicating with us, their clients. On one hand, I want to be kept in the loop. On the other hand, I don't want constant email about every little thing. Maybe they should set up a blog so we can all check and scan fr what's important to us.
