Hi i have 2 wav files.. usually my podcast is 1 but the guy i was interviewing had to have me stop half way through and well it dont pick up where you left off.. so i have 2.. i have to cut a bit of 1 of them and then join them
not sure how to do this.. anyone seen any good easy to follow tutorials kicking around online of how to do this?
I havent picked a editing program yet so Im open to any tutorials you have..then i will get the program

A tutorial would be a waste of time until you actually picked an editing platform, because unless you have one to open up in front of you, you wouldn't really be able to tell how easy it would be to follow the instructions. I suggest you poke around the forums some more to find a good editing program.
Otherwise, the poor man's option would be this: if you have QuickTime, open both wav files, copy the second one, move the playhead from the first one to the end, and paste in the copied file. Then save as a self-contained file.
But find a good editor. You'll be much better off.

Quicktime works great, but I think you'll need to cough up the fee for Quicktime Pro. Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) will do what you want it to do, it's free and the have tutorials (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/tutorials) online.

Audacity will do what you want it to do, it's free...
Yep, and the learning curve is pretty short.
Just input the two files, use the "Time Shift" mode to drag the second part of the interview to the end of the first part and then output it as an MP3. Audacity will "mix" all the tracks to a single track when outputted.
Good Luck!
