second.. do you submit to them again everytime you do a podcast or just the one time

You only need to submit once. Most directories use your feed to updated their listing.

For directories you only need to submit once, there is also a specialised service to send podcast pings here:

http://www.triyo.com/ping.php

This will update 60+ sites on the internet to let them know you've updated your podcast (iTunes, Yahoo, Weblogs, Feedburner, Odeo etc..)- your podcast will then apppear on lists of those most recently updated. Also, when you use the above service your podcast is automatically added to the find feature on the site so other users can search for and see it (you dont even have to sign up for anything). Its a new service but is set to grow :)

Tried it and it did not pull in an image neat idea if it works. I been using robbs list and that one is the bomb
