True story:
I served on a Jury last week and had my laptop with me. On one of the short breaks, we were sitting on benches outside of the courtroom, so I decided to glance over the PCA forums. This older gentleman (and fellow juror) was sitting next to me, and kind of looking over my shoulder. He said nothing to me about what was on my screen.
However, anyone who's been on these forums recently knows that Tom from Kinky Sex Radio is all over them, and has a fairly large avatar, which, while not explicit, is very visible as something "sexy" from a distance. This is in no way intended as a criticism of Tom, I'm just explaining as it pertains to the story.
Anyway, I overheard the guy that was looking over my shoulder telling another juror that I "only bring my laptop to court so I can look at porn during the breaks". I had to laugh.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. There are a number of sig banners and avatars on this board that might be considered innappropriate for certain situations. Again, I'm not here to censor, just to inquire if anyone has had a similar experience.
When I'm at work, I usually just turn off images in my browser before going to PCA, or any other message board, for that matter. Some message boards have the ability to turn off avatars, which is nice, but this one does not. Thoughts?
