Some say audacity.. is there anything easier or better?

also is their a tutorial somewhere on doing it?

Audition is better. But it costs money. :cry:

It's a kick butt program. But, it's not cheap. $350 USD

Garageband. If you're on a Mac, you probably already have it.

If you're on a Mac, you might also look at Amadeus II (find it at Versiontracker.com). It's only about $40, works well, and is more stable than Audacity (which is a fine piece of software that I also use).
