Are you folks as confused as I am about the stats in Feedburner? I mean it's an INCREDIBLE, FREE service that I cannot live without, but what do "Subscribers" really mean?

{I still have yet to try Podalyzer, ok? I'm lazy}

Are Subscribers people who subscribed 4 months ago? Or are those people who clicked a "subscribe" button within a 24-hour period?

Maybe I don't want to hear the truth. I'll either be really happy, or really depressed and end it. NEVER SURRENDER!

I'd love to see a screenshot of Leo Laporte's Feedburner stats. That would bring the taste of gun metal really quickly.

Podtrac has a very accurate podcast measurement system. If you haven't already, check it out at http://www.podtrac.com

No.

With a simple reading of what your FeedBurner number is from FeedBurner's own site, you'll find it's neither. It's the number of unique users to request the contents of your feed within the past 24 hours.

At what point did all you new podcasters decide it was cool to just stop reading **** and learning **** on your own and just asking others in a forum?

You lazy ****s.

There is a LAST 24 HOURS (live subscribers) number and a DAILY UPDATED number (dashboard) from the previous day. READ. It's not okay to be retarded just because you're too conditioned to skip looking for an answer on your own.

At what point did all you new podcasters decide it was cool to just stop reading sh*t and learning sh*t on your own and just asking others in a forum?

You lazy f*ck.

There is a LAST 24 HOURS (live subscribers) number and a DAILY UPDATED number (dashboard) from the previous day. READ. It's not okay to be retarded just because you're too conditioned to skip looking for an answer on your own.
It's also not okay to be a total a-hole, Patrick! You don't want to answer the question or discuss it, move the **** on. Christ!

No.

There's a point where people get too lazy to look at the PAGE THEY ARE ALREADY ON for an answer and instead just want **** spoon fed to them.

Eat my *****le if you're going to cater to that kind of needy bullshit.

I don't intend to cater to it, but there's no reason to call someone a lazy ****.

And if you're looking to get into some kind of flame war, forget it. I'll do us both a favor and just pretend that I didn't read the last part of your post.

ok I understand that I could have went and found it myself but i'm surer theres plenty of people that are willing to spend 2 seconds to answer it. If you feel that I should go research it then just don't answer

If people didn't ask questions there would be nothing to read on this forum.

I have a question for Patrick-Where's my t-shirt? I ordered it last January when you "quit" the show. I thought it might become a collector's item when NLO faded.

Hollywood Adam is very good about answering questions. He has helped me a lot

Adam has time, perhaps.

If you listened to any of the last 2 audio files in our feed, you'd know where your shirt is.

Yeah, a shirt from a podcast that has been around for 6 months will be a collector's item. Riiiiight.

You are too modest-Number One on PCA!

Oh - I thought this forum was for discussing all things podcast related. I missed the part where I typed: MANIC RESPONSES ONLY.

I'm lazy; you answered, so we're all pathetic.

I'm just suggesting before you put the word "genius" in your name you consult a FAQ page or two.

Actually, Bionic Genius up there is acting the part. It's a known fact that many a genius, while seeking and disseminating greater knowledge, tends to overlook the more mundane details of life.

Oh, and Patrick, while we're on the subject of FAQs, here's one you may want to get re-aquainted with: Community Rules (http://www.podcastalley.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1081)
