Well, I grabbed a Fast Track Pro to hook up my real mic through. Seemed the way to go. I like the monitoring and so forth and the new model finally supports USB 2.0 (supposedly).
Unfortunately, I can't seem to get sound one out of the bastardized thing.
The Fast Track pro is set as the input device. It is showing connected and seems to recognize without issue. I'm using a dynamic mic so the phantom power is turned off.
I know I'm missing something silly. Any thoughts?
