for pr purposes should I refer my religon as a Cult of a Church and why

the name will be eighter
Intergaltic Church of the Space Monkeys
or
Intergalatic Cult of The Space Monkeys
what do you think?

I would go with Cult. It sounds more ominous and may draw more qualified monkeys to your cause.

if you say church, people will automatically think it is a cult....

if you call it a cult, you'll cut to the bottom line and take all of the guess work out of it....

I say go for Cult. There are some cool Cults out there. Cult of Ecstasy, Cult of Personality, the Cult, Cult of the Dead Cow, The Cult of Confucius.

But if you use the word church you can skip out on your taxes. It worked for Scientology. Actually, come to think of it, it may not have your name but I think that Scientology basically already is the Intergalactic Cult of Space Monkeys (http://www.xenu.net).
