Does anyone out there know if there is any software that will aid in creating an "enhanced" podcast (that is one with pictures/links embedded)?

That really sucks that it has to stay as an AAC file when it is an enhanced podcast...But perhaps I will try creating two feeds like the one user said.
Thanks a ton for your help!

I kinda came to the same conclusion you did.
I don't know if I wanna bother with two different formats.
Good luck with it!
If you do this and it works for ya, let us know!

A Mac.Good for you. My favorite tool is Podcast Maker from http://www.potionfactory.com.
Note that only iTunes as the aggregator and iPods as the player can playback enhanced podcasts. Any other application or MP3 player will most likely not work.

Take a look at the recently released Garageband 3:

I have two versions of my podcast which both show up on itunes and it seems that the enhanced version is doing better on itunes than the non enhanced one but i did want to make another suggestion. I don't know if PCA or other sites would take the feed for the enhanced podcast, but i would refrain from putting the enhanced feed on these sites. Having the same show listed twice might encourage a division of votes between the two. Just a thought.
