iTunes search

Where do you put the terms iTunes uses for search?

In the xml file or does iTunes have some special place for them?

per item and channel:

<itunes:keywords>keywords seperated by spaces</itunes:keywords>
and also just put in
<keywords>same as above</keywords>

That's in every item just before the </item> tag.

When I search for those terms, I get results... just not me. I used to get me and a few others. I don't know what I did. Can anyone help? Thanks.

huh, you didnt come up...your feed looks fine

have you checked to make sure you are still in itunes at all? if you dont come up for things even in your name, you've probably been removed for some reason. lookin over ur feed for any errors that wud get u kicked...

i think it might be because you put adult as a subcategory of talk radio, when there are no subcategories

I'm still in iTunes. If you click the iTunes link on my site, there I am. That's what's so weird. It only changed my search terms. I think.

G'day Tom,

I just had a look at your feed there are a few errors you need to go and fix up. Itunes has a spat attack if one thing is out of place. I only got back in itunes myself was out a week or 2 because of RSS errors.

That thing is insane! It tells me I have an error in line 42. "sexuality is not one of the predefined iTunes categories or sub-categories" You click 'help' and it lists the categories. Sexuality IS a category. I go to iTunes and confirm.... CRAP!

Does anyone use this thing? What do I do? Please, I'm so confused.

I've had troubles over the past while with iTunes not finding my Podcast, but having it show up when I click on my chicklet. So I reported an error on my page, and about a week later, my podcast has re-appeared on iTunes.

for some reason, with everything ive seen, the younger the person (at least, if it's a kid) the faster itunes responds

So iTunes did me right. I sent them an e-mail and they fixed it.

i had a similar problem, when you would search "mediocre" my show didn't show up, but a few of the shows i was a guest on did. very strange. i redid the keywords and now it's working. and my downloads spiked.
