I know most here don't care much for Spatcast but i listened to it for the first time today and i thought, "this is not bad." Now, I know that Erica lacks the brain power to debate most people on any topic (consider her reason for accepting porn as an example) but at the very least it was entertaining.

I kind of liked two of them, didn't like one and laughed my *** off at one. Not a bad % for a new podcast. She should keep trying.

Spatcast is great and anybody who says differently is obviously wrong.

Every podcast is another podcast, so your statement is meaningless. Peace out, dude.

thank you for supporting spatcast! i haven't made an episode in awhile, but in the next i am planning on spatting with stern, that sirius-satelite shock-jock.
the idea that i am unable to debate anyone on anything is laughable! i am also one of the smartest people you will ever meet. confused? that is because YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME.

don't post unless it's about you huh?
but did i not post in one of your threads once? i asked you about your cousin, really bad podshow. i recall you got pretty upset that i would show up in one of your threads. that's the way i remember it. man, people are so strange! they are so weird! you know that book, "men are from mars, women are from venus"? that dude needs to write one called "erica is from earth, everyone else is crazy" so i can read it and understand.
although i don't read self-help crap like that. although once i started reading "relationship rescue" after i had a big fight with darlisha. i was on some meds that made me dizzy all the time. i found out she was a score-keeper. i poured an entire gallon jug of grape juice on her bedspread in a fury. man, did that leave a stain!
here i provide a link just in case your relationship needs rescuing. oh my god, there's a workbook too!
Relationship Rescue (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/078688598X/qid=1135407872/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-2958319-7954331?n=507846&s=books&v=glance)
The Relationship Rescue Workbook (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786886048/qid=1135407872/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-2958319-7954331?n=507846&s=books&v=glance)
i should warn you that "lost hope bob" gave the workbook only 1 star and would have given it "negative stars" but that is not an option on amazon.

Erica:
I think that you're too caught up in yourself, but before i get into that, let me just say that i consider both your shows entertaining, and i at least listen to the TChicks regularly. Also, this post is only creating more of a curious atmosphere surrounding your podcasts so you can thank me later.
I listened to the SpatCast episode with the tooth, and frankly you chose to debate an idiot who is only full of himself. Now, he wants to start his own podcast and i assure you that nitwit's show will fail. He was too easy to debate. Maybe i don't get you, or understand you, but then again maybe it's because you don't make sense.
Well, these are just my thoughts. I hope you don't mind being an entertaining show just for entertainments sake. I would not seek out your show for the purpose of listening to deep discussion, or to get information.

Sorry for a second post here but i need to address a couple more things. First, the only way you'll get stern on your show is to show him your breasts. You're a beautiful woman so i hope that goes over well.
Second, very few "smart people" would ever say that porn is what makes a society balanced, so i guess you're either not as smart as you think, or you're too smart for you own good. Either way, it's not a real good thing for you. On the other hand, i do think that Darlisha is very level headed and intelligent, and also a real looker. I think you both compliment eachother very well so keep up the great work!

first, foola - you should stop eating the kfc. here is a link to kentucky fried cruelty:
KentuckyFriedCruelty.com (www.kfccruelty.com)
here's a good book to read if you are interested in animal cruelty issues. it's written by a former george w. bush speechwriter. he's also written for dick cheney and dan quayle, so you cannot accuse him of being a namby-pamby liberal like me:
Dominion: The Power of Man, the Suffering of Animals, and the Call to Mercy (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0312319738/qid=1135444000/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-2958319-7954331?n=507846&s=books&v=glance)
very few "smart people" would ever say that porn is what makes a society balanced, so i guess you're either not as smart as you think, or you're too smart for you own good.
i may be too smart for my own good, but catharsis is a theory of an effect of pornography. the hypothesis is that by giving certain people an outlet, porn can prevent rape and other sex crimes. here, i'll quote a bit from a paper i found by some phd candidate:
"A number of cathartic effects have been found for pornography, but perhaps the most widely cited is the so called "Danish experience." In the 1960's Denmark experienced a "porno wave", but rather than censoring this content, in 1967 the government lifted all restriction on pornography (save a 16 year old age limit for purchasing porn). Yet rather than experiencing a wave of sex crimes as some had predicted, sex crimes actually declined. For example, Kutchinsky (1970; 1985; 1987; 1991) found that from 1965 to 1982 sex crimes against children declined from 30 per 100,000 in '65 to about 5 per 100,000 in '82. Similar evidence is found for rape rates. Kutchinsky concludes that this is likely the effect of pornography providing potential sex offenders an alternate means of sexual satisfaction, most likely through masturbation."
He goes on to talk about Japan, a country with high amounts of pornography and low amounts of sex crimes. hey, i'm not saying it's true - but it's a theory. here's a link to that paper:
Porn Effects (http://www.asc.upenn.edu/usr/chunter/porn_effects.html#catharsis)
think you both compliment eachother very well so keep up the great work!
the tipsy chicks is ending. but thanks!

the truth is - or i guess, was - something for people with more refined and perhaps exotic tastes. like certain types of cheese. some people say, "oh, god, that smells like feet!" while others could spend all day spreading it on a cracker. i am the latter sort of person (i belong to the cheese-of-the-month club). truth brough me joy and laughter every day and i am sorry he is gone.
here is a link to my favorite book on cheese - beware, if you read this you will become infuriorated at the laws against raw milk cheese.
Cheese Primer (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0894807625/qid=1135445287/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-2958319-7954331?n=507846&s=books&v=glance)

I'm gonna agree with el nacho here. Don't believe everything you read. Erica, you seem to be very well read. I certainly am not. I have, however, travelled to Japan and honestly i don't think that Japan is a well balanced society. Women, although things are getting better according to some of the women i've spoken with there, are treated as second class citizens. I'm assuming that you as a self proclaimed feminest would be absolutely against that and porn may be something that contributes to that concept. Well, I don't want to go on and on about this, but I will say that I congratulate you on sticking to your ideas, and as a listener, thanks for keeping me entertained. It is a shame that Tipsy Chicks are no more, but it was a good run for the two of you and i wish you both the best.

have you seen a shot in the dark? do you honestly believe - i believe everything! that **** always makes me laugh!
i will tell you, foolafoola, if you anti-porn and it's not for some weird religious reason but because you are really pro-sex, i will be your best friend. i will stop supporting the catharsis hypothesis and jump right on your bandwagon.

case in point about believing everything your read.
i've been in japan for over 4 years, and have not once seen women treated as second class citizens.....
you're right, japanese people can be facked up yaz, but foola is also right, don't believe just one source of information as scripture.

Erica,
I think you got me wrong. I'm not criticizing your stance, i just question your reasoning, besides that, my intention was not to get into a discussion about porn. I simply wanted to point out that your shows are entertaining.

foola! let's put the porn aside! i am very disturbed by your avatars - first kfc now burger king! i am certain your problem can be solved with book recommendations.
first, why not read this:
Fast Food Nation (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060938455/qid=1135918197/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-2958319-7954331?n=507846&s=books&v=glance)
next, try a good book on nutrition. this one is the best:
Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0743223225/qid=1135918308/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/104-2958319-7954331?s=books&v=glance&n=283155)
and now you are probably wanting a cookbook recommendation. i will recommend my fav - peter berley. i think this guy is a culinary genius.
Fresh Food Fast (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060515147/qid=1135918446/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/104-2958319-7954331?s=books&v=glance&n=283155)
amazon has the little deal where you can buy both of his books together at a reduced rate and i HIGHLY suggest you do that.
