View Full Version : Modifying+Deleteing Shows

We have too many different variations of our shows in the directory. We'd like to delete most of them and modify the feeds we still update(change the name, description). I've been trying to contact the webmaster, but if there's a way around that I'd love to hear it.

yea we can do that but that's not the problem. On podcastalley we have about 4 of our shows posted under different names. We want it to be just one. so we want to be able to delete the one's we don't want and to modify the one we want.

report the shows you want deleted, give your info and tell them to delete it

I've tried that about 2 months ago they never did it. But I guess I'll try that again.

Remove 3 of the 4 offending shows and move on. If the file is broken in some way you can update the mp3 (be sure to correct the filesize as well) but do not change the enclosure http: reference (in other words dont change the filename.) Doing so will cause you iTunes listeners to get the show again, as well as the defect you see with the show list. Same goes for the title and abstract. Eventually ALL the sites may scrub their databases, and/or you will have enough on top of it that its just a memory and nobody will notice the noise at the end.
