I usually just read the forums, and don't take the time to post anything. However, this thread made me very upset. NLO is a funny, sarcastic show done by 2 great guys who know how to make people laugh, and look at the world with humor. I've been listening to the show for awhile, and know both Patrick and Adam and neither of them is by any means a bad person. Often, they say the things that we are all thinking, but never actually voice. If you take the show seriously, you need to get a life and a sense of humor. Aerowolf, how dare you think you are the "moral" police of podcasting. You think you can sit in judgement of someone putting out a funny, great show? I'm amazed...how about instead of taking time to knock on an awesome show, you keep your opinions to yourself. It's one thing if you don't want to listen to the show, that's fine...I'm sure Patrick and Adam don't want people like you listening. It's another thing to post a thread accusing someone of being a pedophile. From where I come from, that's called slander, and there is legal recourse that can be taken. First of all, don't say Bib and Yaz are the original, because I had never heard the show when I started podcasts, so I don't know how we can be a copy.

Second, Bib and Yaz are ****ing pussies who talk **** about people on their show and then pretend they don't in person. They talked **** about us and Keith and the Girl and when confronted about it in person they play it off and pretend to not know what we're talking about.

well patrick...I didn't say you copied them. They were way before you. They do on their shows a lot of the stuff you do. I'm sorry but I doubt you hadn't heard them. When you got into the game they were one of the most popular comedy podcasts. It seems like you would have checked on what was out there.

Your experience may have been genuine but keith and the girls was bullshit and they flat out lied about how things went down. "Oh Chad you weren't even there how could you possibly know" you say? Well it was an expo for podcasters and I-rivers were going when they met and it's all on tape.

So you can keep on this "they backed down to you and keith and the girl" but the keith and the girl incident was flat-out lied about by katg on their Rockstar show. I bet though that if you met them again things wouldn't be so amicable.

And I think a big barrier to their show is the 3+ hour time format. You have to admit you have a hard enough time filling out a 40min show much less a 3hour one.

And switched:on doesn't have as many listeners as you either but as far as funny goes they wipe the floor with you. I'm a big fan of your show and vote every month but your high and mighty **** gets old.

Second of all, I've never heard one episode of Bib and Yaz. Not one. You can doubt it all you want, but there are a lot of podcasts I haven't heard.

Finally, you can say they will be mean or angry next time they see me, and if they do, then I still say they are dicks, because I've never done anything to them or said anything about them or their show. And that's fact.

I just think that if you have something to say to someone, you ought to be willing to say it to their face. I can't even tell you what they said about me or my show, because again, I haven't heard any of it.

Finally, I have nothing against them. I probably will go check out their show now and give them a listen, out of curiousity. Maybe it will be good. If I don't like it though, I'm not going to bash them. They seemed like they are cool guys, I just don't know why they'd bash me or my show and then not own up to it.

I for one would like to point out that NLO's fans shouldn't be a reflection on Patrick. In my experience Patrick is a cool guy and has a great show. Hardcore fans can go crazy sometimes and NLO has a lot of them.

If you read his forums his fans are a part of the reason he's quitting. I admit if I had ppl skyping and emailing me every 5 mins when a show is two minutes late. Or skyping me constantly with nothing to say, just so they can say they talked to Patrick I'd hang it up too.

yea patrick, thats what usually happens, someone who is friends with the podcast we bash heres it, they tell the podcaster, the podcaster doesn't listen for themselves and gets all bent out of shape...makes for a funny reaction...but there have been some shows we seriously talked badly about...maybe like 2 or 3, but that was a while ago...but we don't really do that anymore, we're trying to stay away from talking about podcasting unless its an important development or if we're just sending shout outs to some of our friends...too bad you didn't hear about the whole misogyny thing with us and the mary&karla show and the tipsy chicks...that was funny shite...
