Multiple segements for one show?

Hi, we have 5+ segments for each show, and they are each a seperate mp3 file. How can I construct the RSS so that a reader will download all the segments for the one show.

Why don't you try using audition or whatever and make it into one file..If the end goal is to make the listener get all 5 segments why not make it easier and put them all in one file?

I hear you Jay, unfortunately I do not have control of that. The files are uploaded seperately.

but make sure your levels are consistant throughout the show. including music segments. some people have trouble with that.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. If you have the 5 seperate mp3's, you can always mix them together..Thats what we do on our show.

Even if your files ARE uploaded seperately(i presume from your cohost or someone else), you can download them onto your computer, edit them, and put the final mp3 back on the webpage.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. If you have the 5 seperate mp3's, you can always mix them together..Thats what we do on our show.

I'm just the programming/web guy (contract at that :wink: ). I know nothing of mixing audio, I do know the current web app is geared towards multiple segments. That's why I was hoping I could use the RSS to say one show consist of these five files.

If RSS doesn't support it that's cool, I'll talk with the sound/production guys and see what they think of using one file.

I'm not 100% certain about this, but I think RSS files can handle only 1 mp3.

Again, I'm not sure...probably because I'm yet to find one with multiple mp3's.
