Why do you lock topics?
because some people have run out of things to say so they just post 1 word things?
because people start showing animosity?
how about you just delete those posts and let other people express what THEY think

a ton of times ive wanted to give my say in stuff, only to find its been locked while i was gone

how about you do some more extensive modding, instead of just snapping on a ball and chain to the thread and have it dragged down to the depths, to be eaten by the pruners, huh?

nah, nacho, they lock them because sometimes at the hands of *****les with nothing better to do, post will deviate from podcasting and start talking about kicking stupid people's asses or theatening podophiles because they like to touch little boys...

i try to keep my posts 100% about podcasting :wink:

Usually, the thread is locked when the people posting to it become abusive and violate the board's AUP.

Not to mention ElNacho is rather unattractive, IMO, and he's 14. He's not a child. It negates any use of "pedophile" when describing the scenario.

His mind? Very intellegent. I think he's got an awesome brain on his shoulders and he's very creative. Listening to his shows is almost like witnessing someone's brain explode multiple times in a row. And he likes Flogging Molly; also a plus. :)

I also found it amusing how he was eating up all the attention when people were "coming to his rescue".

im in new mexico. its really boring and the fu(king iBook thing is fu(ked up and ive just learned that my whole vidcast, Spegtios, was deleted. unless i didnt record over it (which im 50% sure i did **** ****) its gone forever. the editing and **** is gone and everything. **** **** ****!

i really hope i didnt record over it. **** ibook and the necessity to delete iMovie files after exporting because of the lack of disk space. **** export that for some inexplicable reason, didn't really export, just referenced files in the DV folder, which i deleted...**** **** ****! **** the lack of any kind of restore feature! agh! i hate it all!

You hope I go for looks? :) Well, I mean y'know, visual attraction is usually the first thing any mammal (human beings included) biologically utilizes to see if they're compatible with the other person. I personally think visual sexual attraction is nothing more than a draconian catalyst for more refined social interaction... and yeah, "getting it on", too, but that's only natural. Call visuals a BIOS for the brain.

BUT...

With modems and BBS's in the 80's, and the eventual rise of the net (especially in the older days when eveything was mainly text), all of a sudden, those rules went out the window, and suddenly people were actually interested in each other for their minds rather than their looks. The visual depictions people would make of each other in the mind's eye would suffice quite nicely.

Grah ok, I'm gonna stop, I could go on for hours and that's not the topic. Breaking topics is the topic. So .. err.. yeah, Did I follow the topic, then?

Anyways, "looks"? They're sweet at first, but the mind is the ultimate joyride, imo. Looks fade. The mind flourishes.

At least I don't blatently advertise my show via the forums like some other banned podcasts.
