Volunteers needed

I am starting a new Podcast involving writers. I need people who write short stories, serialized stories, poems, etc, to read their works and to be interviewed. If you have a novel or long story, a partial reading can still be used. The plan is to have a weekly podcast, fairly short, and have at least two writers reading and being interviewed, some tips and suggestions, etc.

You do not have to be a published author; just have something you have written. All genres are allowed. This is a completely non-commercial venture and you will retain all rights to your works.

Funny you should mention Escape pod... I just installed the podcast plugin for Yahoo Music Engine and signed up for my first actual subscription to a podcast, rather than my general random downloading. And that subscription was for Escape Pod :)

My pleasure. I think you'll enjoy Escape Pod. Steve puts together a great show that's a mix of long fiction (30 minutes or so) and flash fiction (5 minutes or so).

I hope Escape Pod is incredibly succesful so Steve can buy short stories by "name" authors like Bruce Sterling and Greg Egan. It's my dream to some day hear anaudio version of Sterlings "Spook".

What kind of lit do you plan to feature on your show, by the way?
