I can’t figure out how to play voicemail from K7.net on my Mac. This is the message I get:

Safari cannot find the Internet plug-in. It has content of MIME type “application/x-mplayer2”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.

We were finally able to play it with MPlayer but the speed is way too fast. Can anybody help me?

Right-click, choose "Open With..." and select Quicktime.

It's a .wma file, btw. I tried right clicking and selecting Quicktime, but Quicktime was grayed out in the applications list.

Oh. You must have it configured to download your voicemails off the Web site. That's...not ideal. You could install Windows Media Player for the Mac, but it won't help when you have to mix the files into your podcast in Audacity or some other app.

Log into http://k7.net and have them send messages directly to your e-mail instead. You'll get standard .wav files, which can be played with any audio application out there. (And don't forget to choose the higher quality!)

Yep! That's exactly how it was set up. I changed the setting and can hear them now. Thanks so much!
