Monitoring subscribers

Hey there!

I'm new to Podcast Alley, so if this a FAQ, please don't scold me :wink: . My cast, Games Avant-Garde, is up at Podcast.net, iTunes, Yahoo Podcasts, and here. My question is, is there any way I can check the number of cumulative subscribers? I know Yahoo has a small count, but I'd like something a bit broader.

One way people accomplish what you are trying to do is open an account with www.feedburner.com Then when you list your show at the different directories, you supply the feedburner feed, which points at your original feed (but tracks the activity). This doesn't mean the number of people who actually downloaad the file, but the number of people who check your feed to see if there is anything new.

www.libnsyn.com (http://libsyn.com/signup.php?ref=74b3efcb529e2483e031c93e94492bc6) also has built in stats. They also have a built in blog, rss, and unlimited bandwidth, and unlimited disk space.
