Image Issues

I've got the image for my cast, Games Avant-Garde. The RSS can be found here:

http://www.brokenlight.net/gag/GAGXML.xml

Now, my image shows up in the listings for iTunes, but not for Yahoo! Podcasts (it shows a default image I assume is assigned to those without one). I looked through other feeds from Yahoo Podcasts, and I don't see that I don't have anything that I don't. Does anyone know my issue?

I am in the same boat. My image works fine in iTunes but it is not showing up on Yahoo. I have emailed them about it and never got a response. Any ideas on how to fix it would be appreciated.

Hey MM, I looked carefully at the difference between your code that doesn't work on Yahoo, and mine that does. The only difference I can see is that you don't have a trailing slash on your site URL, which is actually required in the standards:

<image>
<url>http://marilynmonroe.ca/podcast/itunes3.jpg</url>
<title>My Marilyn</title>
<link>http://mymarilyn.ca</link>
</image>

I don't know if that would affect Yahoo's ability to load your image or not.

But the other thing I did find, is that my browser timed-out 3 out of four times trying to load your image from the URL you give above: http://marilynmonroe.ca/podcast/itunes3.jpg

I will try adding the slash. Hmmm...I don't know what to say about the time-out problem, would that be something with my host. I haven't had any problems accessing my site, at least that I noticed.

Ugh, I've tweaked it a bit, but it still won't work. Is there anyone else who can find the fault in my feed?

Me too please! My artwork is still not showing up in Yahoo. I'm not sure what else to do. They don't reply to emails that is for sure.

I had the same problem for about 3 weeks. THen one day it jsut started working.

Yeah, mine just showed up recently too and I never did anything different.
