Hey Everyone,
With all the recent posts that have seemed to move away from the spirit of what I (and I'm sure many others) believe is a thriving community so full of possibilities, I'd like to propose that those in this thread simply post a link to the favorite show that they've created. It doesn't have to be your best show, your worst show - no matter. Just put a direct link to the favorite show you've made. I'd love to hear them.

So much of what's being posted here takes away from the time and energy of so many who just want to either help out, ask for help, or be helped in finding shows they like, no matter what their tastes.

I've listened to a few of the casts from those who've been really active in the forums, and it really doesn't matter what I think. What's more important IMO is to have the face of Podcasting be full of people who want to "will" its success, through positive means to further the cause for all of us as a whole.

So please put a direct link to your favorite show that you've made. No comments, no retorts, no replies, no judgements - just put a link and let's all LISTEN for a change.

I'm sure I have a favorite somewhere, but because I'm reaching out, I'll just put a link to our latest show - because it only matters if you just try it out - and ultimately, every show is my favorite 'cuz it's a pleasure to be a Podcaster.

This piece is titled "Volunteer Trail Crew":

I think it gets the listener into the wilderness better than any of my other shows to date.

It's a bit sappy, but it was completely spontaneous, off the cuff and heart felt.

It's from my new show that I'm doing, but I'm very happy about it.

Great idea Canis on getting some good vibes flowing.

As I was walking home, listening to the audio from this soundseeing tour I had just made, I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. Normally, I don't make myself laugh or brag about how funny I think I am.

It was the most fun I've had by myself in a long time.

Although the musical number in episode #310 (http://www.doctorfloyd.com/media/season3/Radio_Adventures_Of_Dr_Floyd_EPISODE_310.mp3) always makes me giggle, the episode that makes me REALLY laugh is #111 (http://www.doctorfloyd.com/media/season1/EPISODE111.mp3). "Dr. Floyd....Dr. Floyd....Dr. Floyd!!!!"

If anyone using Firefox would like to suck the MP3s off this thread in one fell swoop, there's a plugin called DownTHEMall! (http://downthemall.mozdev.org/) that'll do it. In the plugin's options, register .mp3 as an extention filter, then select which local directory to put them in.

I'm going to list my top five in no particular order...

Matt, drunken sandwich maker
http://www.smallworldpodcast.com/mp3/smallworld030905.mp3
This is one of my earliest shows but it is still one of my favorite because it still cracks me up.

Music Monday! DJ Cheb I Sabbah
http://www.smallworldpodcast.com/mp3/smallworld062705.mp3
This is a long show but I really I've been a fan of Cheb's works for years. I also enjoyed it because I followed Cheb's pacing during the interview and just let the conversation flow.

Kate and cadavers
http://www.smallworldpodcast.com/mp3/smallworld050805.mp3
This is definitely one of my most visceral interviews. But if you're talking about dissecting human bodies I guess that's to be expected.

Hunter S. Thompson memorial/”Christian” burrito
http://www.smallworldpodcast.com/mp3/smallworld052405.mp3
Gonzo journalism at it's best! I moon an audience and almost get my *** kicked over a "Christian" burrito.

Jessica, Hurricane Katrina
http://www.smallworldpodcast.com/mp3/smallworld092705.mp3
I was verklempt during most of this interview. Just hearing Jessica's voice while she shares her story fleeing New Orleans is very moving.

To go off topic for just a sec, two of my all time favorite podcasts was the Pantless Kabobs episode where Len and Nora talk about a guy getting impaled on a fence and Len tries to show how he'd seduce Nora, and the first time that Mr. X had his daughter Little X on his show....I kept both of those shows on my ipod for months.

I would have to say our very first podcast, just because it was our first and we didn't plan on doing it we just wanted to see what we sounded like, and everything. http://libsyn.com/media/nobodies/Nobodies1.mp3

I'm gonna throw in our 6th episode also, because I had been thinking of a song all day after we took the picture below and I told my hubs before the show to have his guitar near by but I didn't tell him why.

Mary and Karla Show VS. The Tipsy Chicks

Yes, but Franklin, the question was, what is your favorite of your own shows (http://www.podcastalley.com/podcast_details.php?pod_id=3719)?

vox_monitor

This is a fun question:

My favorite episodes, in no particular order, were the reveiws we did of:

PK & J
www.voxmonitor.com/media/vox_monitor_034.mp3

This one was I think one of our funnest episodes, meaning fun to listen to. It's our most (only?) really musical episode in the sense of playing music while reviewing. I know, it sounds like a bad idea, and I agree in principal, which is why there aren't any others like this one. But in this one, I think, we pulled it off.

Soccergirl
www.voxmonitor.com/media/vox_monitor_023.mp3

This is typically most listeners favorite episode. It's a pretty harsh reveiw. I tend to cringe when I hear it, just in terms of it's harshness. But most people find it funny. And it is funny, just harsh funny.

Two Guys One Brain
www.voxmonitor.com/media/vox_monitor_051.mp3

This is an exception in that it is a longer episode that I have no reservations about. Cohry and I were very engaged about the subject matter (cops), but not at the expense of our engagement with the show and the reviewing, I think.

Somewhere Out There
www.voxmonitor.com/media/vox_monitor_033.mp3

I like the gary gygax **** at the end. Plus it's just generally a tight episode.

Nobodies

it hasn't come out yet, cause it aint finsihed, but I think this will be our funniest episode. Which doesn't necessarily make it my favorite, but this one is coming out great.
