On today’s show we are proud to feature an exclusive interview with ultra fab recording artist and actor, Mr. Billy Porter. A New York theatre scene staple since the early 90’s, Billy has made a name for himself not only as an amazing vocalist, but now as a songwriter. After an exhausting period trying to be a star in the R&B Music world as well as working as classically actor trained actor on Broadway, Billy has finally mixed the two together with the release of “At The Corner Of Broadway & Soul.†In early 2005, Billy was asked, as an artist in residence at the world famous Joe Papp Public Theatre in NYC, to put together a theatrical evening telling his life story. The result was the critcally-praised “Ghetto Superstar: The Man That I Am.†Today, we talk to Billy about his amazing story, the highs and lows of the biz, and the release of his new album.

Be it music, theater, movies, or books, you are backstage at the ultimate hangout. The goal of Green Room Radio is simply to "get to the art of it." Upset at the way the media was covering respectable performers and artists, Green Room Radio creator Erich Bergen went out to create a source where people could listen to an artist speak from their heart, not from a cue card. After only a few months, Green Room Radio has become just that; an internet radio show that interviews everyone from underground unknowns to show biz legends. www.greenroomradio.com
