I am trying to upload a podcast file, but I am unaware of what this .RSS file is? Is it hard to figure out?

It's a file that contains information about your podcast. It is used by various software programs to autiomatically download new episodes of your show.

For a much, much better explaination, and some tips, visit
http://www.podcast411.com

You'll see a link along the left-hand side of the page labeled "Learn how to Podcast" that will contain many useful articles.

Best of luck!

Thank you, that is quite a good tutorial. I guess I am shocked how much there is to learn. I thought it was just creating an mp3 and putting it on the web - how little i know!

Ya I felt the same way at first. But with blogger and feedburner it is pretty easy. The only one I can't figure out is itunes. Make sure you post when you are up and running.
