Found this article today when searching the news. Kinda makes me wonder if we need to work parental tools into podcast downloading applications other than itunes (new in version 5, parents can choose to not let kids download podcasts)…

Interesting piece, but what do we have to do to get mentioned in one of these things? Rape a baby harp seal on air? I mean come on already, where is the outrasge?!?

I have to agree with Josh here, why is it bad for our children to be confronted with sexuality - but it's OK for them to witness simulated murder? As a proud Dad of three impressionable children this truth confounds me. Has anyone here ever been to The Netherlands, probably the most peaceful people on Earth - and hiding sexuality is not an issue.

Oh my god, porn on the internet! We’re doomed!

Good thing we’re already establishing ways to pressure directories to remove objectionable content. Now we’ll be able to apply that to all those offensive podcasts out there.
