I didn't vote, only because I simply use the system I have (Windows), so it's not a matter of preference, it's a matter of logistics.

The purpose of this poll is not know how many people use different operating systems in doing a podcasts. Well, for me I use Windows.

No. Sorry, but it's a silly poll.
I don't select an OS when I podcast. I podcast with the OS I have.
(where have I heard that line before?)
I chose an OS a long time ago, before there was podcasting, for reasons that have nothing to do with podcasting.
And if I were starting over in podcasting, I would choose which software and hardware to use first, and get a computer and OS that supports that stuff the best.
And, by the way, "Windows" isn't an OS; it's a user interface. If you want to say Win2K or Win98, or WinXP, then maybe you could call it an OS, but it's not really true.
... And Macintosh is a brand of computer. Macs have run a lot of different OS.
... And Unix and Linux are two different OS
I guess I'm just grumpy today.
